The academic session commences in the month of April and ends in March. It is divided into various terms as follows:

A house examination is held at the end of each term. Every student must appear in all these examinations. In addition, unit tests & weekly tests are conducted prior to each terminal examination. There is no provision to conduct any special test/examination for the absentees under any circumstances. At the end of the session, the result of all the term examinations are consolidated. The promotion of the student is made on the basis of the consolidated result.
