Self-study and reading are important skills towards developing the habit of lifelong learning which is an indispensable tool for future careers. The school library functions as a vital organ in the educational body, not as a separate entity isolated from the total school program, but involved in the teaching and learning process. 

Library plays a strong instructional role in School. For this purpose Dasmesh, Public school has a well-equipped and stocked library with more than 5000 books that are recreational and educational in nature. In the library different types of books, magazines, periodicals, and newspapers are available. The library is spacious and well-resourced with a variety of periodicals, journals, magazines, newsletters, fiction, reference books and volumes of encyclopedias that provide students with opportunities to discover the world of knowledge. Invaluable Reference books are available and can be made use of in the Library. The Library receives a vast range of magazines and journals both National and International besides the Daily National newspapers. Every child is inspired and encouraged to go to the library during the library period as well as in free time. A qualified librarian is appointed to maintain the library.

Our Multi-media room has the latest audio-video aids to help students to watch and listen to educative, interactive programs that complement their classroom learning process.
